Blog post #1 (on your blog) On compose tab, write
your introduction. Inform audience what
this blog is all about. It’s a blog for
school however you are encouraged to post things other than assignments
given. The purpose is to get you use to
blogging and connecting to friends blogs. For safety purposes, do not use your
last name or refer to where you live or school you go to. Discuss things you enjoy doing.
Blog post #2 - (on your blog) HTML tab, embed the html coding
of your Voki.
On the teacher’s station
in the back – open
your blog and copy and paste your blog address.
Friday’s Work:
Write
a two or more paragraph story about Christmas.
Some ideas . . .
- · What Christmas means to you.
- · Favorite things to do at Christmas – share some stories.
- · Write a short story of Christmas - fiction
Create a Wordle: Go to the Wordle site and paste your story/words to create a wordle.
http://www.wordle.net/ add link to your Diigo account.
Add Wordle as a blog post: Two
options: grab html code and post to your
blog . . . Or . . . do a print screen, then paste in paint - save your design as a
jpg file. Upload image to your blog. See teachers blog for sample.
I think your guide to writing an introduction for a blog is good netiquette. Netiquette is the social code of the internet. Writing an introduction that tells readers what the post is about is a good netiquette rule to follow : ) Great post, definitely high level netiquette stuff here.
